Strasbourg’s public transport network, CTS, has been using Qommute since 2018. Looking for a centralised passenger information management solution, CTS wanted a solution covering all its transport modes and all its broadcasting channels. Qommute proposed the integration of its solution to meet this need.
CTS’s objectives
Through the implementation of this solution, CTS set out to:
- Equip itself with a high-performance solution to steer its passenger information and manage planned or unplanned disruptions on its network that lead to degraded operations
- Centralise operator input in a single tool that is quick and simple to use
- Refine the level of detail of the information broadcast, in particular by specifying the stations and lines affected, so that passengers can limit the impact of disruptions by choosing alternative routes
- Increase the number of broadcasting channels (open data, email, etc.) while keeping the existing ones (passenger information displays, Twitter)
- Improve its quality of service
